Some of the joys of spring include sunny skies, warm weather, refreshing rain showers and, of course, beautiful blooming wildflowers at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center’s Wildflower Days™ from now until May 31. This is the perfect opportunity to get out and explore after being cooped up in you new homes in Austin last winter.
During Wildflower Days™, the Center’s grounds are open from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. every day. To celebrate the wildflower season, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center hosts a variety of fun events including the National Wildflower Week Photo Exhibit sponsored by Canon, National Public Gardens Day with free admission to Better Homes & Gardens subscribers with magazine coupon, Gardens on Tour and the Wildflower Gala wraps everything up with former first lady Mrs. W. Bush attending as a special guest.
Daily admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and students, $3 for children and members and children under 5 attend for free.
