Have you finished your holiday shopping? If you’re still looking for the perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for person on your shopping list, then you will want to visit the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar for unique, sophisticated and funky gifts that are sure to please your family and friends. The bazaar is open Dec. 15 through Dec. 24 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Since 1976, the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar has been the cornerstone of Austin’s holiday season, celebrating the city’s unique cultural identity with handmade gifts crafted by local artists and artisans. Each year, the major retail attraction draws about 40,000 holiday gift-buyers to downtown Austin for shopping that includes jewelry, apparel, metalwork, sculpture, glass, ceramics, books, photography and woodwork to name a few. Plus, owners of new homes in Austin will love the distinctive home furnishings for sale at the bazaar.

Housed at the Palmer Events Center, this year’s bazaar will feature 29 musical performances by amazing new bands as well as Austin legends. Admission to the event is $7 for evenings and weekends and $4 any weekday before 7 p.m. Children ages 12 and under are free. For more information, visit the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar website.
