Sterling Custom Homes is still glowing from being honored as the 2008 Texas Custom Builder of the Year by the Texas Association of Builders. The builder of Austin Custom Homes was announced the winner of this coveted award last October at the 2008 Star Awards banquet. The Star Awards are the Southwest’s premier building industry awards program, making it a tremendous honor to be deemed a winner. The competition is steep with hundreds of entries to be judged, and to be recognized as the best in your category out of all of these entries is a phenomenal feat. Even more impressive is the fact that this is the third time Sterling Custom Homes has been awarded this title, having previously won in 2004 and 1992. Apparently, the exceptional attention to detail and signature features that have helped to develop Sterling’s prestigious reputation not only stand out in the Austin real estate market, but also in the Texas real estate industry as a whole.
It’s also important to note that the Custom Builder of the Year award was not the only one that Sterling Custom Homes took home this year. For the 2008 Star Awards, Sterling Custom Homes is also the winner for Best Architectural Design for a Home over $1 Million, Best Overall Interior Design for a Home over $1 Million, Best Master Bedroom for a Home over $1 Million, Best Outdoor Project and Best New Home over $1 Million.
