How much heat can you handle? Find out by joining The Austin Chronicle for the world’s largest hot sauce festival this Sunday August 23rd, 11 – 5 PM at Fiesta Gardens (2100 Jesse E. Segovia St.). The event is free to the public (with a donation of three healthy, nonperishable food items or a suggested $5 cash donation). Come taste hot sauce prepared by restaurants, commercial bottlers and individuals then vote for your favorites in each category. All proceeds benefit the Capital Area Food Bank of Texas. Last year’s Festival raised over 45,300 meals for the Austin area!
